To go to JAM very often means to get out of your comfort zone. It often offers something that will excite you and make you curious. Like a photography exhibition with half naked people, or an installation of 8-bit video games, or an experimental sound gig.

Your experience at JAM will go something like this: arrive in the evening and get your drink on. It is a bar after all. Strike up a conversation with anyone and perhaps peruse through the art exhibition together with them. Know that you will most likely be looking at emerging artists’ work. Finally, it’s show time. Settle down and enjoy whatever untried event that is being held. JAM is notable in that it also acts as a cinema art house sometimes. Cult movie nights are very regular events.

When it is over, don’t leave. Close out the place with some of the nicest people and mind meld with them. You will surely have a lot to talk about after what you have seen there.
